Santa Monica Chamber of CommerceThe Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, Sustainable Works and the City of Santa Monica work together each year to produce the Sustainable Quality Awards (SQA). For fourteen years the Sustainable Quality Awards have celebrated local businesses that make extraordinary contributions to our community by honoring business achievement in economic development, social responsibility, and stewardship of the environment. The voluntary activities these businesses undertake result in cleaner air and water, less waste, reduced traffic and pollution, improved quality of life for residents and workers, and a strong and viable local economy. |

Sustainable WorksSustainable Works is a non-profit environmental education organization and a project of Community Partners. Our mission is to foster a culture of sustainability in cities, colleges, and businesses. We've been conducting our programs in the City of Santa Monica and at Santa Monica College for over six years. Participants represent the Greater Los Angeles area. We educate about environmentally responsible actions involving waste production, water, chemical, and energy consumption, transportation emissions, consumer habits and community development. |

The division develops and implements programs to manage natural resources and hazardous materials, promote conservation and efficiency efforts, and administer and enforce many of Santa Monica’s environmental laws. |
